2018 is the European Year of Cultural Heritage. It is where we celebrate our past to build the future. It is where we find unity in diversity. The aim of the European Year of Cultural Heritage is to encourage more people to discover and engage with Europes cultural heritage, and to reinforce a sense of belonging to a common European space. As a future potential candidate to the European Union, the Special Representative of the European Union to BiH sees Bosnia and Herzegovina as an integral part of the European family. The EU has a special interest and investment in the tourism and cultural fields in Bosnia and Herzegovina – having provided local communities, artists, businesses, organizations and institutions with know-how, tools, and resources to build a better future in our common European space.
